AGE EIGHTEEN

Oh, eighteen!

The Earth has called for a change,

But I am afraid to grab the age,

That chapter I dare not to turn a page,

forgotten my age has reached that range.

I have turned eighteen,

pride tells me, I'm no longer a teen.

It's time to experience the venom of this dangerous python called Earth.

You weaken me like a mother,

Thou I have no child,

You erase my childhood memories.

And left me with adult worries.

Where should I start from?

Where can I get a job with decent pay?

You curse my life with responsibility,

You and I know that I have no chance of getting a stand.

You vanished with nothing left for me,

You think that I am matured,

Remember the child you nurtured.

I can't do it for myself!

Help me pass this bondage,

this age has caused me damage.

Take off these shackles from me,

For my ages are suffering.
