THE BITTER TRUTH

Poetry 1 min read , December 16, 2020

Hiding in the darkness doesn’t mean you will never shine.

Living inside a false face doesn’t mean your reality will never show up.

Don’t be shy or afraid by sharing your story.

Don’t worry,

I will tell you sorry.

Don’t cry when it was just a kiss.

Don’t feel shy for if he attempted to touch your boobs.

So don’t be a hypocrite by setting him free.

For if you do that, he will try it to another person.

See, don’t lie to set him free. It’s better to speak the bitter truth with love and respect.

Now listen...... Listen

This goes to the man who doesn’t want to see me shine.

A man who doesn’t help me to fill my bucket,

but always after his own appetite.

And all he wants is to deprive me of my education,

damage my career,

and leave me in pieces like a broken tile.

But I have to increase my speed,

For I am almost at the border of my success.

Please tell him that

Our doings,

Our feelings,

Our problems,

I just hate it when our rights are violated.

See, it’s extremely sad to see our professionals acting like locals.

And all they do is calling themselves intellectuals when they can’t maintain their intellectualism.

It is hard to say, but we have to voice out

Because it’s The Truth and it is what is happening.

Kon deglul lii malai Hamal

To the hospitals, our mothers are insulted

Just because they want to give birth to our presidents.

Our Ministers

Our teachers

And to you, the cruel and heartless doctors and nurses have patience upon your patients.

Sorry if I’m too harsh, but this is the Bitter Truth that is hidden in our society.
